General Summary
MDA Information Systems LLC has multiple opportunities for Geospatial Analysts, ranging from Entry Level to Senior Level. The Geospatial Analysts will be responsible for GIS analysis and satellite image interpretation and processing. These positions will work in a team environment on a variety of geospatial projects using state-of-the-art remote sensing and GIS technology to produce land cover and land cover change products.
The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running and work well in a time-sensitive, team oriented environment.

Responsibilities
Create map products from geospatial data layers
GIS modeling
Perform processing and editing tasks on vector and raster data layers
Workflow development and refinement
Interpretation of satellite imagery
Categorization of land cover and land cover change
Image modeling
Workflow development and refinement
Qualifications
Associate's/Bachelor's degree/certification in physical or earth sciences or technical discipline related to GIS, and/or 0-2 years professional experience (will consider current student) for Entry level Geospatial Analyst level
Bachelor's degree in physical or earth sciences or technical discipline related to GIS with 2-3 years professional experience for Mid-level Geospatial Analyst level
Master's degree in physical or earth sciences or technical discipline related to GIS with 3-5 years professional experience for Senior level Geospatial Analyst level
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance
Experience and/or in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following image processing software programs:
ERDAS IMAGINE, ESRI, ENVI, PCI
Database experience with ArcSDE, Oracle, Postgres a plus
Programming experience using Python, VBA, C++, C#, or Java a plus
Experience with ArcGIS Server a plus
