Study models, drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Utilize specialized CAM software to program CNC machine tools working on unique prototypes in the automotive industry.
Requirements:
Understanding of machining operations for unique, high-precision component parts.
Knowledge of CAD-CAM software such as NX (Unigraphics), Delcam, or MasterCam.
Familiarity with 3D design software, SolidWorks preferred.
