Merchandising Specialist
RESPONSIBILITY
To maximize sales of building insulation products to assigned Big Box stores and ensure that all merchandising functions are being professionally fulfilled within territory.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Achieve Sales targets, penetration goals
2. Act as Merchandiser/Sales for all assigned Big Box stores.
3. Complete merchandiser functions for all assigned Big Box stores.
4. Be able to speak to groups of people for training and product knowledge on all product lines
5. Support all assigned Big Box stores through frequent (90 percent) out of office call rotation throughout Michigan, Cincinnati and Kentucky.
6. Provide suggested orders, complete on hand counts within the stores
7. Provide special order quotes as required.
8. Regular sales/merchandiser specialist team meetings with account manager and product manager.
9. Maintain regular call schedule, meeting notes and photos on contact management system.
10. Organize/participate in all contractor events and trade shows at stores
11. Flexible work hours; early mornings, evenings and weekends.
12. Provide market research projects as requested.
13. Ensure visibility within store and get to know all regional and in-store department and contractor desk personnel.
14. Follow all Big Box vendor guidelines
15. Meet all safety requirements and regulations.
16. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) where advised.
17. Ensure a clean work environment.
18. Develop a flexible approach to a team environment.
19. Adherence to company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated initiative
Ability to travel, valid driver's license
Associates Degree in Business or Education related field
3-5 years experience in Retail Sales and Marketing
