As Engineer II, Software, you will spearhead all aspects of software development, including software systems and/or applications for software enhancement and new products. These functions must be performed according to defined specifications and existing processes within a team environment, in order to meet and/or exceed business and quality objectives. You will consistently demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the quality policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. You will also be asked to assist in project scheduling. To qualify, you must either possess a Masters degree with 2 years of experience, or a Bachelors degree with 3 years experience in software design and implementation. These 3 years should also address experience with OOD (object-oriented design). Other requirements are work with embedded C/C++, Windows development and CAPA (corrective action/preventative action). There should be an ability to write some code. No specific industry background is necessary.
