## Job Summary
A research investigator with the department of psychiatry is sought for a two-year period of time. This position focuses on the outcomes of longitudinal studies of bipolar disorder at the University of Michigan.
The requirements of the position are: Doctoral Degree in Medicine, a Masters level degree in public health, and statistics with experience in outcomes research in longitudinal studies and research. Experience in research with a track record of peer reviewed publications, and post-doctoral training is preferred. Specific strengths for the candidate will include a background in growth curve analysis of sequential data. There is an expectation of participation in the organization and management of data as well as the preparing and writing of scientific manuscripts. Preparation and participation in grant writing is also expected.
## Background Screening
Under Michigan law, a criminal history check including fingerprinting is required as a condition of transfer or employment for this position.
