The Vehicle CFD (Computational-Fluid-Dynamics) Engineer position is located at our Ann Arbor, MI campus.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Analyzing airflow problems.
Developing countermeasures to improve airflow.
Applying computational fluid dynamics tools to understand airflow distribution.
Summarizing and reporting activity to related groups.
Negotiating with related departments to implement engineering changes to improve airflow performance.
Identifying technology trends in CFD field.
Documenting processes in the form of manuals and knowledge books.
Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
Perform other duties as required.
## Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Thorough understanding of CFD concepts.
Minimum of 2
years' experience working with CFD solvers (Powerflow and/or SC STREAM preferred).
Minimum of 2
years' experience working with CFD pre and post processors such as ANSA and Fieldview.
Experience reviewing drawing data from CAD software such as CATIA.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness and ability to work overtime as required to meet project schedules and complete required tasks.
Willingness and ability to travel, domestically and internationally, as required.
Preferred Experience
Master's degree in Fluid Dynamics preferred.
Experience with macro programming a plus.
Experience in vehicle cooling or aerodynamic testing a plus.

Toyota Technical Center (TTC) is a division of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing, North America Inc., established in 1977. TTC''s Michigan R&D; facilities are located in Ann Arbor, Saline, Plymouth and Livonia. In addition, TTC has testing facilities in Torrance and Gardena, California and a 10-mile oval test track in Wittmann, Arizona.
