Dining Coordinator

The Diet Aide (Dining Coordinator) is responsible for taking food and beverage orders, preparing the food and serving it to residents in the skilled nursing center dining rooms. Work hours will generally be 2:00 pm - 8:30 pm Monday through Friday. Working every other Saturday & Sunday and some holidays is also required.
This position works as part of a team to ensure friendly and efficient service. Other responsibilities include assisting in maintaining the dining room and kitchen work areas and keeping equipment, utensils and dinnerware clean and orderly, replenishing and putting away stock and other duties as assigned. Must be able to work well in an older adult, team-based environment.
Qualifications:
Prior food service/cooking experience preferred.
High School diploma or GED required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Must be friendly, enjoy working at a fast pace and be dependable.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
