Dynics is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to execute all activities related to the purchase, delivery of goods and services needed by the business in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
This position oversees the direct procurement of goods from contract manufacturers, components, packaging suppliers consistent with company goals and specifications for quality and timely delivery of such goods to meet changing business forecasts.
This is a fulltime position requiring in office presence.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Work with Dynics team to develop a purchase and inventory plan to support the sales and inventory goals.
Ensure the purchase and inventory plan is aligned to meet/exceed the sales, turnover and ending inventory plan.
Collaborate with planning team to ensure monthly purchase order, sales, and inventory management goals are met.
Performs data entry, item code and BOM set up, revisions and maintenance along with analysis of delivery dates into database.
Create and place new purchase orders aligned with sales and inventory management goals.
Provide analysis and actively participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Track receipts against confirmed purchase orders and manage priority of receipts.
Identify and resolve shortages caused by lead time variability, manufacturing delays, spikes in sales.
Expedite and reflow purchases based on changing delivery priorities.
Provide timely reports and updates of the order management system on a daily/weekly basis.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure real-time purchase order management.
Assist in minimizing excess and obsolete inventories.
Assist with design, implementation and updates of an inventory, allocation, and replenishment solution.
Selects and manages vendors where outsourcing provides a cost and/or service advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS Inventory management experience required.
Experience ordering and managing relationships with overseas vendors.
Experience working with purchasing and inventory management software and strategies.
Must have the ability to manage and meet schedule commitments and possess good communication skills.
Demonstrated skills in analyzing, planning, judgment and decision making.
Ability to work as both an individual contributor and in a team environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement and/or supply chain preferred.
Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Must be capable of working with little or no supervision.
Knowledge of supplies, parts ordering, and inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to analyze and problem solve.
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to act decisively with a sense of urgency, but able to collaborate and build alignment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
