do?postingId=16065 Job Description In conjunction with the Communications Manager, develops, produces and curates engaging content for the WCPARC social media accounts, following WCPARC's overall social media strategy.
Plans, develops, designs, and executes a wide variety of promotional materials including quarterly guides, informational and educational brochures, newsletters, reports, displays, advertisements, flyers, multi-media projects, and other materials for external and internal use.
Responsible for updating WCPARC website and working closely with designated staff at facilities to ensure timely, relevant information.
Provides support for the department web content editors and RecTrac users.
Assists with developing strong written content for a variety of audiences across several marketing platforms including press releases, reports, articles, social media, public and employee newsletters, website content, program descriptions and other correspondence.
Conducts interviews of staff and community members to develop interesting content for varied uses and outlets.
Implements short and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures as they pertain to communication, monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, effects changes required for improvement.
Acts as Technology Liaison for the department which includes coordination between internal customers, Central Information Technology and communication with the department point of sale provider.
Edits and proofreads various communication materials.
Researches and implements external outreach opportunities.
Oversees community outreach including tabling events, job fairs, and assisting with volunteer support.
Writes department materials, reports, press releases, website content, presentations, and other public communications.
Helps develop and manage advertising and marketing efforts.
