- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation - Oversee and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers - Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and create new menu items - Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment - Assist with the training and development of kitchen staff - Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
