IT Operations Engineer

We are currently seeking an IT Operations Engineer in Ann Arbor, MI for a 6-month contract with likelihood to extend and possible convert to hire.
The IT Operations Engineer works within the Global IT Ops group and cross-functionally with other IT groups.
The IT Operations Engineer has the responsibility of supporting IT systems involved in Point of Sale and other core store functions.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Leading system problem solving efforts alongside development and/or support teams Designing and implementing Splunk dashboards for effective application and system monitoring Proactively identifying and resolving system issues impactful to business operations Leading or participating in the triage and resolution of critical, high visibility system impacts Ensuring application and system configuration compliance for IT systems Participating in the operational grooming of store software pilots Coordinating software deployments for Point of Sale systems Delivering store technology operational insights to other IT groups Analyzing systems and procedures to identify value add improvement opportunities Teaching Support teams proper support procedures and techniques Working with project teams on new solutions or technologies being developed for stores and ensuring a smooth transition to operations Provide technical support and operations training to team members Documenting support standards and procedures
Qualifications:

years in IT Operations or Systems Administration/Management Experience with blended Microsoft and Linux infrastructures, preferably at the enterprise level Experience in software deployment tools and solutions Experience in configuration management tools and solutions Expertise and experience in system monitoring and analysis using Splunk or similar log analyzers Expertise and experience in Windows triage and support Experience in Windows performance analysis Takes pride in work while appreciating feedback, discussion, and iteration Enjoys the process of problem solving Ability to participate in 24x7 On-Call rotation Ability to travel 5% Must be local to Ann Arbor, MI area but work schedule is hybrid with pre-arranged days to come into the office as required for in-person meetings and workshops.
Expected average 2-4 days per month (spread out as needed).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
