Full Time, position, scheduled 36 hours per week on the 12's night with a weekend and holiday commitment on the Medical Observation Unit.
Medical Observation5 North is a 34-bed medical inpatient unit housing medical observation, stroke, and general medicine patient populations.
The unit has the capability to monitor up to 16 patients on telemetry.
The staff work together as an interdisciplinary team to provide respectful, patient-centered care for a diverse patient population.
5 North offers great learning opportunities, the chance to learn and hone many skills, sets the foundation for nursing practice, and facilitates the development of critical thinking as care is provided to a variety of diagnoses.
Nurses on this unit earn their NIHSS certification within the first 6 months of hire.
