Power Delivery Project Mgmt VIII Dept Description Transmission Line Engineering Project Manager POWER Engineers, Inc.
is seeking a Transmission Line Engineering Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management team in our Central USA region.
This position reports to our St.
Louis office with the ability to work remotely from any mutually acceptable location.
(Please note where you will be located in the application) The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full-time at a location other than a POWER-designated office/job site.
Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.
Roles and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical and financial aspects of power delivery projects, managing and developing client relationships, and marketing POWER's power delivery services to existing and new clients in the respective region.
Other responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

Promote company culture and manage internal and external relationships
Manage status reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable and unbilled for each project
Collaborate with project design teams
Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team
Develop & maintain schedules, lead/participate in project meetings with project teams, oversee budgets, participate in proposal preparation, take leading role in client relationships
Work primarily with Power Delivery, but may also interface with other POWER divisions based on the nature of any particular project
This position will primarily have local travel to regional clients
Demonstrated project management skills should include CPM scheduling, budget and cost analysis, managing project teams, as well as proposal writing, client marketing, and project presentations Required Education/Experience
Bachelors degree from an accredited university in an engineering discipline or engineering management required
PE registration or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Ten (10)
years applicable industry experience
Five (5)
years' relevant project management experience
Relevant experience includes small- to medium-scale project management, or project lead engineering experience on projects
Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools
Intimate knowledge of high voltage transmission line design principles and transmission line project management experience
Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting
Experience in project management controls area Desired Education/Experience
Seven (7)
years project management experience preferred
Experience in transmission line design and management preferred
