Michigan Headache & Neurological Institute Michigan Headache & Neurological Institute Ann Arbor, MI Ann Arbor, MI Full-time Full-time From $15 an hour From $15 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago The Michigan Headache & Neurological Institute (MHNI), a specialty center in Ann Arbor for the treatment of headache and pain disorders, is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant/Recruitment Coordinator to join its staff in a full-time position.
This position will handle organizational and administrative details for the research department.
These responsibilities include assisting the research team with clinical research activities by; tracking study progress, detailed record keeping, data entry, query resolution, maintaining regulatory documents and patient logs, filing and other duties assigned.
This role will also function as a lead recruiter for multiple studies.
This will include phone screening and collecting information from potential participants according to the research study protocols.
Scheduling participants for in person appointments, tracking and reporting pre-screen and screening activities as well as answering and triaging phone calls.
Recruitment responsibilities will also include collaboration on community outreach via various means including social media advertising.
The research assistant / recruitment coordinator will work individually as well as collaboratively with other team members to fulfill the goals of the studies.
Preferred candidates must possess excellent computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel and willingness to learn and develop additional computer skills related to data management and preparation for data for analysis.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are required to communicate with participants, research team members including the investigators, as well as Sponsors and their CRO's.
Must demonstrate multitasking skills and the ability prioritize workload efficiently.
A Bachelor's' degree in health science and/or previous clinical research experience is desired, but not required.
