Responsibilities:
Assist the Hotel General Manager (GM) with the day-to-day operations of the property including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, laundry, and sales.
Responsible for goal setting, motivation/ discipline of employees, labor expense control, and general expenses Hire team members The AGM is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist with operations, to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
Will be responsible to complete the duties of GM during times when the GM is not available Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner Coordinate with our head housekeeper to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy to accommodate guests' needs Book and confirm group reservations Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Requirements:
Energetic, self-motivated leader with strong work ethic required Work experience in hotel management, front desk management, receptionist, or similar role a plus Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills required Ability to direct, oversee, and multiple task simultaneously Ability to work and interact with employees on every level Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Excel, Word, experience with hotel reservations software and front desk system is a plus Job Type:
