Summary The Department of Family Medicine is seeking a Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research Analyst who would collaborate under the direction of multiple principal investigators.
The analyst would work on grant funded projects using qualitative and mixed methods approaches to learn more about individuals' thoughts, beliefs, and experiences related to a variety of health conditions.
We are seeking candidates with a graduate degree in a health-related field with extensive exposure to qualitative data collection and analysis.
A bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience may be considered.
Experience communicating with study participants and with data collection through interviews, focus groups, and open-ended survey items is required.
Since a significant portion of this position will involve analyzing qualitative data, experience with qualitative analysis software (e.
g.
, MaxQDA, NVivo, Dedoose) is preferred.
The analyst will work as a part of several research teams and have access to mentors who can help support career growth and provide guidance when encountering methodological or analytical challenges.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in health-related field and three years of experience in qualitative or mixed methods research OR a graduate degree in a health-related field and at least one year of experience in qualitative or mixed methods research Interest in interviewing, qualitative research, and mixed methods A nonjudgmental and respectful attitude regarding chronic health issues A professional demeanor, dependability, and ability to work well under pressure Initiative and willingness to learn new tasks Desired Qualifications Experience with manuscript writing and a desire to advance these skills Ability to independently and creatively address problems and seek resources/help as necessary Work Schedule This position works remotely at this time.
Flexible work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change dependent on the business needs of the hiring department, throughout the course of employment.
This position may require onsite and remote work assignment in the future, based on the business needs of the unit.
Background Screening Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
